According to an Ernst and Young forensic investigation on the use of PSMAS funds a total of $2.4 million was spent on PSAMA board of directors' remuneration with Presidential Spokesperson, George Charamba, pocketing a total of $228,000 as board fees and allowances.
Last year Charamba claimed he was the least paid person on the board yet he was in fact one of the highest remunerated well above his annual salary as a civil servant.
