Mugabe heads to India begging bowl in hand

President Robert Mugabe will be leading a government delegation to the India-Africa Summit in a fortnight as he continues his fruitless hunt for assistance to rescue an economy that has been hard-hit by a liquidity crunch and recession.

Government officials said Mugabe would particularly push for the implementation of electricity projects, to ease the energy crisis.
