500 men sexual abused - NAC

The National Aids Council has revealed that more than 500 men were
sexually abused last year and older men don't reports such cases.
NAC Harare official, Adonija Muzondiana said 541 men were abused.
"The
males who were sexually abused are both young and old. However it is
unfortunate that older men don't report because of fear of humiliation.
"It is also sad that our communities have not accepted that even men can be raped" said Muzondiona
"We urge men to seek help as it is key to your health. You need to quickly remember that when you are forcibly sexually abused you have to get medical treatment in 72 hours".
