Man kills brother over rent

An Epworth man was early this morning murdered by his brother in a dispute over money paid by tenants as rentals.
The two cousin brothers, the deceased Rashid and Condi Mawire are said to have fought in the early morning hours resulting in the elder brother, Condi killing Rashid, whose age is not yet known.
According to the neighbours the two brothers used to fight most of the time, with the late being the major culprit in starting up fights with his elder brother whenever he was drunk.
National police spokesperson, Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba confirmed the murder and said the culprit has been arrested.
She expressed concern over the rise in the number of domestic violence cases.
