A political analyst Ngqabutho Mabhena has claimed that first lady Grace Mugabe has already taken over from her husband President Robert Mugabe as he runs the country with the two vice presidents reporting to her while ministers kneel in front of her.

Grace at some point claimed that she sits down with vice President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Phelekezela Mphoko who update her on issues of government while some ministers like Ignatius Chombo have been seen in public kneeling for her.

"The unelected President of Zimbabwe, Dr Grace Ntombizodwa Mugabe, born in Benoni South Africa in 1965. She went to Zimbabwe with her parents in 1979, in 1985 she joined the Prime Minister 's office as a typist. In 1996, she married President Robert Gabriel Mugabe," said Mabhena.

"In 2014, she "took" over from her husband. She is currently running the country with the two Zimbabwean Vice President's reporting to her and all cabinet ministers knelling before her. She seeks to be officially elected President in the 2018 elections."
