ZRP to investigate Jonathan Moyo daughter's death

A three-member team from the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) CID Homicide, has been set up to help investigate the case.

The team which requested a second post mortem to be conducted back home includes Chief Superintendent Nyaradzai Majachani and Chief Superintendent Tachiona.

Acting President Phelekezela Mphoko, who was away on government duty when Zanele's body was repatriated and buried last Friday, visited the Moyo residence this Tuesday afternoon, where he said results of the investigations should help console the family and bring closure to the case.

Mphoko has appealed to law enforcement authorities and medical personnel investigating the death of Zanele Moyo to diligently and meticulously deal with the case to ensure the circumstances and cause are established.

A preliminary report of the investigations is expected this Friday.
