JOHANNESBURG - Former Zanu-PF Mashonaland West chairman Temba Mliswa has been linked to a new political party, FreeZim Congress Party (FCP), led by South Africa-based business mogul Joseph Makamba Busha.

Busha, who is rumoured to be related to Telecel's James Makamba, owns JM Busha an Insurance and Asset Management Company.

According to the Newsday, Mliswa was last Friday seen at JM Busha's annual end-of-year party that was also attended by among others former South African President Kgalema Motlanthe and musician PJ Powers at Wanderers Golf Club in Rosebank.

But the tough-talking Mliswa immediately poured called water on the claims despite having been locked in a meeting with Busha at his Rosebank offices.

"I have not joined any party and have no intention of joining any. When that happens, we will make an announcement. However, I am working with all political organisations in the country including youths from the MDC-T, People's Democratic Party and Zanu-PF.

"We will invite them to our workshop to find and set an agenda for youths in the country. We feel youths have not been represented enough and need leadership. From that workshop we will get a clearer idea of what needs to be done," Mliswa said from South Africa yesterday.

Busha confirmed meeting Mliswa, but said it was too early to talk about the impending marriage with the firebrand Mliswa.
