Mugabe meets India's Narendra Modi

President Robert Mugabe met the Indian Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi at his offices in New Delhi early today.

President Mugabe, who is the African Union Chairperson, spoke of the continent's desire for genuine partners in development.

In his capacity as the President of Zimbabwe, President Mugabe also articulated the country's vision, the ZIM ASSET economic blueprint.

The President is attending the 3rd India-Africa Forum Summit which draws together over 2.5 billion people from 55 countries.

The resource rich Africa with some of the resources still untapped expects India to assist the continent on a win-win basis.
