Dominic Maodza of Warren Park in appeared in court Wednesday charged with inserting an empty bottle into his wife's private parts in a horrific attack during a row over allegations she was having an extra marital affair.
Maodza was charged with aggravated indecent assault, physical abuse as well as rape when he appeared before magistrate's court.
It is alleged that Maodza shoved an empty bottle into his wife's privates saying this would satisfy her since his penis was too small.
The court heard that on September 22 this year, the accused started accusing his wife of cheating on him. After an argument, Maodza started assaulting his wife with clenched fists on the face several times.
After beating her, the court heard that he went on to engage in sex with the woman while she was lying facing downwards without her consent.
He then took an empty bottle and inserted it into his wife's vagina, telling her his penis was too small so he could not quench her insatiable desire for sex.
After the abuse, the man fell asleep while his wife proceeded to the police station to file a report.
She was medically examined for both sexual and physical abuse.
The case was remanded to November 3 for continuation of trial.
Maodza is however, denying the charges.
