Zimbabwe police hunt 86 hardcore criminals

POLICE in Gweru are hunting 86 hardcore criminals that include 63 rape suspects and 17 murder suspects. According to information released by the police, most of the criminals are from Gweru and Chiwundura communal lands. The Officer Commanding Midlands Province, Senior Assistant Commissioner Abigail Moyo confirmed the list but referred The Chronicle to the police spokesperson Inspector Joel Goko. Some of the criminals have been on the run for the past 15 years.

Murder suspects on the wanted list include Sebastine Mafa and Celvin Manenga from Chiwundura area who have been on the run since 2001, Admire Takaruva and Vitalis Mashaike both of 15 Casework, Desford Gweru, Lovemore Simango of 16 Claymond, Dasyford, Gweru, Blessing Dallars Sibanda of Makumbuzi Village in Chief Malisa's area in Silobela and Simon Ncube of Plot 4, Inglenook farm, Matobo.

The rape suspects on the run include Robert Mapfeka from Gambiza Village in Chiwundura, Moven Daison from Riverdale, Gweru, Clover Chadoka from Matobo, George Mpofu from Kwekwe, and Sai Sibanda, Simbarashe Kumusha of Nhubu Village, Chief Chiwundura, Talent Moyo of Headman Mkombo, Woodend, Chief Sogwala, Tinavo Masungo, of Insukamini Township, Lower Gweru, Vusani Dube, Plot 14 Weedlands, Somabula, Gweru.
