Zanu PF National Political Commissar Saviour Kasukuwere has ordered members of the Mashonaland East provincial executive to iron out their differences and work for the good of the party.
Accompanied by Senate president Edna Madzongwe who led the restructuring programme in Mashonaland East which ended in July, Kasukuwere descended on the province to diffuse tension following suspensions and counter-suspensions in the provincial executive last week.
Kasukuwere blamed the chaos on lack of communication, lack of respect for party leaders and organs and indiscipline.
Madzongwe says there is need for sanity for the party to work for the people.
Politburo member Dr Sydney Sekeramayi says leaders should bear in mind that their disagreements cause unnecessary tension and uncertainty among the ordinary party cadres.
Kasukuwere has nullified all the suspensions at provincial and district level.
Politburo members Mike Bimha and David Parirenyatwa attended together with MPs, central committee members and National Consultative Assembly members.
