Harare Residents Trust warns council to have a clear cut garbage collection schedule

Harare Residents Trust has warned Harare City  council to have a clear cut garbage collection schedule.

This came in the wake of council being accused by residents of failure to collect refuse from the residential areas.

"Council is not playing a complementary role to collect bins of garbage piled by anti-litter monitors. The waste management department should have a clear cut plan on waste management keeping in mind that Harare is sitting on a health time bomb," said the trust.
