Children of war vets call for Kasukuwere resignation

A group calling itself Children of Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association has called for the resignation of Zanu-PF political commissar Saviour Kasukuwere and other politburo members accused of fronting a ruling party faction known as Generation 40.

They said it was no longer acceptable for Kasukuwere to continue as the party's commissar unless he apologized for making disparaging remarks against war vets.

Kasukuwere is accused of describing war vets as taxi drivers and drunkards.
