Jamaican superstar dispels rumours of death in Harare

Popular Jamaican reggae artiste Lutan Fyah who is set to stage a show in Harare has dismissed rumours circulating in his country of origin that he had been shot dead during a live performance in the capital. Lutan Fyah who was born Anthony Martin posted on a social network that he was alive and well.
"I want the whole world to know that Lutan Fyah is alive and well. I heard that people are spreading a terrible rumour that I died on stage at an event in Zimbabwe and I don't like that, things like these are very disturbing, I don't want my fans or my family or my friends to suffer any emotional distress because of these lies," said the artiste.
Lutan Fyah also stated that he was very shocked when he was contacted by his publicist Ralston Barrett, who broke the news to him about the rumour.
He said his publicist broke the news of his "death to him. The artist is set to hold a show at the Kebab Centre in Harare on tomorrow and will also shoot some music videos in the country before he returns to his native land.
Regarding his tour Lutan Fyah said everything was going well.
