Zanu PF who ran amok and attacked people during the official opening of the Parliament of Zimbabwe are set to face the music.
Party chairman Simon Khaya Moyo said those responsible those responsible for the violence would be brought to book.
He said the violence was a blemish to the character of the party.
"Violence is evil. It must have no place in our country. These scenes of violence among the party's youths witnessed outside Parliament when President Mugabe was preaching peace and harmony are a blemish to the organisation and the nation at large," said Khaya Moyo.
"Those found on the wrong side would face the consequences. As a party we would not condone any form of violence," he said. Khaya Moyo urged the party's leadership to preach peace.
"Violence gives a despicable image of our country internationally. Let us as leaders inculcate discipline in our followers."
