Man brutally murdered on Harare Street

A man was brutally murdered at the Fourth Street bus terminus in Harare this Sunday afternoon.

The man, whose identity has not yet been released, was allegedly struck by an iron bar and collapsed before bleeding to death.

The assailant fled the scene of the crime but witnesses, who refused to speak to reporters, said he is known.

There are conflicting statements as to how the quarrel started with some saying the victim was being accused of stealing radio speakers from an commuter omnibus while others claimed the altercation was over passengers as the man is a known tout.
