Grace Mugabe juggernaut heads to Mashonaland East

First Lady Grace Mugabe will on Saturday visit the troubled Mashonaland East province, where she is expected to address a rally at Murewa Centre.

Grace, the Zanu-PF women league boss, a fortnight ago failed to travel to Masvingo after reports claimed there was a plot to disrupt her rally, as the succession battle intensifies within the ruling party.

On Saturday Mashonaland East party bigwigs from the province convened a provincial co-coordinating committee (PCC) meeting whose agenda was to "be well prepared" to welcome Grace.

Provincial party chairperson, Joel Biggie Matiza confirmed the First Lady's visit.
