Mujuru followers get death threats

Supporters of Joice Mujuru said they are receiving death threats for campaigning for her and the People First project.

Rugare Gumbo also confirmed that their supporters were being stalked and harassed to prevent them from engaging in their political activities.

He also added that they are aware that everyone in Zanu-PF, including President Robert Mugabe, is panicking because of the People First project.

People First coordinator for Hatfield constituency in Harare, Juliet Gutsa, said the death threats had started two months ago, causing many activists to go underground.

She said unidentified men had threatened her husband. She added that she had received threatening phone calls.
