Harare Residents Trust establishes 10m structures in Chitungwiza

The Harare Residents' Trust (HRT) said it has now established 10 structures in Chitungwiza, and will soon be establishing a Chitungwiza Residents' Council, bringing together the top five executive members of each residents' structure.
This means that at its inauguration, at least 50 residents leaders will be in attendance.
"We would like to commend the residents of Chitungwiza for their unity of purpose and rejection of corruption and covering up of the criminal roles played by some community activists who deceived residents by pocketing their money claiming they will give them residential stands which never materialised. The HRT continues to establish firm functional structures in the communities, which are legitimate, and driven by the communities," said the Trust.
