AFTER receiving several threats from her daughter-in-law to be, a Mutare woman approached the courts for protection. Stella Nyakabao told Mutare magistrate, Mrs Yeukai Chigodora that Plaxedes Dengura was disturbing her peace together with her son.
"Your Worship, I need this woman to stop coming to my home. She always comes to my house looking for my son and she is in the habit of insulting me. I am tired of her insults. She alleges that I am having an affair with my own son. Her words are hurtful, I can't stand them," said Nyakabao.
Dengura disputed the claims.
"I never insulted her. She is the one who insults me whenever I visit her son. I will stop going to her premises if her son stops inviting me there. She is against our marriage because I was married before and I have three children," said Dengura.
Mrs Chigodora granted the order in favour of Nyakabao.
