500 small scale miners received training

The Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises and Cooperative Development Sithembiso Nyoni has said 500 small scale miners have been training on how to conduct their businesses during the year 2015.

Speaking in parliament Nyoni said,  the Ministry is assisting SMEs in minimizing the growth of their business through the following areas among many of the strategies that we have in place:-business Management training in areas such as record keeping, financial literacy, financial management, business planning, project proposal writing, costing, business registration and a lot of other management skills that we give them.

"In 2015, 500 small scale miners, especially youths have received training in Shamva, Bindura, Mazowe, Umzingwane, Mberengwa, Shurugwi, Umguza," she said.
