President Robert Mugabe's loyalist Energy Mutodi has said Zinmbabwe might be struggling in terms of its economy but it is doing very well in some of its sectors compared to other African nations.
In his Facebook Wall Mutodi said Zimbabwe may be struggling in terms of its economy but compared to other African countries, it is doing exceptionally well in terms of education particularly primary and secondary education.
"For primary education, learning has been made easier by the development of Early Child Development (ECD) schools in both rural and urban areas where pupils are taught various skills such as motor, language, cognitive and creativity, social and moral skills among others," he said.
"Apart from developing pupils, ECD schools have become a source living to many small scale entrepreneurs and have helped create employment in an economy where getting a job has become a nightmare. If you are running a pre-school, you are one of those people doing a great service to the nation. Keep it up."
