Police in Marondera have arrested two men in connection with a spate of unlawful entry cases.
The arrest has led to the recovery of property worthy thousands of dollars.
The daring thieves who were arrested after a tip off had wreaked havoc in Ruzawi, Nyameni and Paradise Park suburbs of Marondera.
The gang had the audacity of stealing a bed and other items from Marondera provincial magistrate Mr Milton Serima at his Ruzawi Park residence.
The two James Chihwayi (28) of 3182 Zambezi, Nyameni and Egypt Skinner Masewe (40) of the same address are facing five counts of unlawful entry and are expected to appear at the Marondera Magistrate's Court.
Mashonaland East provincial police spokesperson Inspector Nobert Muzondo says the accused's arrest is set to solve a number of unlawful entry cases in the town and surrounding areas.
He appealed to members of the public who lost their property to come and identify them.
The items which include the bed, blankets, water pumps, generators and solar panels are currently at Marondera CID awaiting identification.
The bed was recovered at one of the suspect's house.
