The Mutare based musician Hosiah Chipanga has said the move to value the Zimbabwean bond coins ahead of the South Africa Rands is ill advised and suicidal for the nation.
"As i see it. The idea of using and valuing a bond coin ahead of the rand is ill advised. For a bond coin to stand one on one with a USA is an economical fake exaggeration and suicidal, that will only dip or downsize the Zimbabwean economy to the lowest bottom ever," he said. "A real economy is not on paper and pen but on the ground. The refusal of the Rand that is originating from a sound economy for a bond coin manufactured to stand for the real money is similar to the Gideon Gono's era where deleting zeros was the order of the day."
He said if the real Zimdollar could not save the economy, is this so called Bond the film star 007 Bond James who could always beat his opponent?
"If not then we are in for it again," he said.
