Mugabe loyalist want Harare Airport named after him
President Robert Mugabe's loyalist has suggested that it would be wonderful if the Harare International Airport can be named after the veteran leader.
"Naming airport after Mugabe is applaudable," said Bothwell Riside of Murewa. "I recently travelled to Tanzania and when we left l was excited indeed. It donned in me that Zimbabwe must name Harare international airport after its illustrious son and Robert Gabriel Mugabe."
He said Tanzania's Dar E Salaam airport is called Julius Nyerere airport.
"When coming back again we passed through Zambia where we were welcomed to Kenneth Kaunda International airport. It is a noble thing to have this airport named after Mugabe," he said.
This is despite overwhelming accusations in the country that Mugabe is the reason why the economy is crumbling and has led to many Zimbabwean leaving the country to seek for greener pastures due to mismanagement of the country.
