Harare borrows $30m

	Harare City Council plans to borrow $30 million for 15 projects and $1,4 million is to be set aside for  its police.
Residents have 21 days to make any objections.
According to a notice, acting Town Clerk Josephine Ncube said DOW: Distribution will get the bulk of the money- $17 215 700m, Emergency services $3, 915 000,municipal police ($1,4m), Information communication technology ($1,013 000) and $660 000 for parks and cemeteries.
Traffic enforcement will be allocated $880 000, waste management ($2,5m) and $360 000 for corporate services.
In October, council approved a $340 million budget for 2016.
The revenue is expected to be generated mostly through smart water metres that will be rolled out.
