The government has fired warning shots at leaders within the establishment who are in the habit of planting negative stories in different media houses.
Speaking during a media briefing in Harare, the Minister of Information, Media and Broadcasting Services, Christopher Mushowe said such government officials are perpetuating a regime change agenda.
Mushowe, who was in the company of his deputy, Thokozile Mathuthu and the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Mr George Charamba said the government is watching such errant officials closely.
The minister also revealed that in 2016, there will be consultations in the media fraternity to come up with a new media policy.
