Mugabe, Bimha mislead nation

The Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions has refuted claims by President Robert Mugabe and Industry minister Mike Bimha  that most of the businesses in Bulawayo which had shut down due to de-industrialization had miraculously resumed operations.

Addressing Zanu PF delegates Bimha claimed most companies in the city were back on their feet courtesy of some interventions by the Zanu PF government.

Meanwhile, President Mugabe over the weekend officially closing his party's conference said the economy is on steady road to recovery with more distressed companies expected to come to life in 2016.

President Mugabe praised existing companies for maintaining operations and increasing production despite economic challenges. He said the economy is becoming better and things will change for good next year.
