A Domboshava woman - Shupikai Gamu was kicked out of her matrimonial home by her hubby to pave way for his lover.
That was after Elias Tarepa had said his lover wanted to move in.
"I feel sick and he chased me away so that his lover could come and stay in my house. He told me that he was marrying another woman" said Gama.
"I'm now residing in Domboshava where I'm surviving from farming.
"I dragged him to the maintenance court and he was ordered to pay $150 per month.
"I need a protection order since he is now abusing me for dragging him to the maintenance court. Our marriage is still valid since we are legally married.
"The girlfriend ordered him to force me out of my house so that they can stay together."
In response, Elias said "She ran away after I told her that I was marrying another woman. She packed everything that we had and right now I'm buying new property for my new wife.
"We are still married since I did not divorce her, she is my wife. The claims that assaulted her for claiming maintenance from me are not true.
"I do not even know where she is residing with my children. I also need access to them.
"I last saw them two months ago. I married another woman for reasons that I cannot disclose here in court.
"The court can grant her the protection order, I have no problems with it".
That left magistrate Ruth Samukange to grant Gamu the protection order.
