Sex worker steals from too drunk client

A 30-year-old Harare man from Budiriro, Archford Mupanduki, lost money and cellphones amounting to $180 to a prostitute he had hired.
Mupanduki was too drunk to have sex with 35-year-old Modester Mpofu who used the golden opportunity to steal.
He had taken her to his house for sex but was overwhelmed by beer as he just dozed off.
Mpofu told the court that she stole the items to raise funds to foot his father's hospital bills, but denied she was a prostitute.
She woke up around 4am and stole two mobile phones and $135 and she left.
She was tracked down and arrested. She was sentenced to seven months in jail, which three were suspended for five years.
On his part, Mupanduki said "We did not have sex. I was too drunk when we got to my house so I just knocked off, I do not owe her anything because I did not sleep with her so why did she steal from me".
The pair had hooked up from a bar.
