Opposition political parties have been challenged to form a system that can challenge the Zanu PF systems which has kept it in power for the past 35 years.
Sipho Ncube Vundla said there is no doubting that Zanu PF has become a system of governance and to counter such a system opposition party's need to also come up with an alternative system that can counter the negative effects of the Zanu PF monster.
"One Zimbabwean who understood the saying 'keep your enemies closer' is non other than our nutty Professor Jonathan Moyo. He is probably one of the most daring political strategist of our time that has tactfully attempted to destroy the system from within in a very tactically clandestine manner," he said.
"Key to his success would depend largely on his ability to draw support from the three pillars of power directly or indirectly to be able to fully accomplish his objective of dismantling the system. Don't fool yourself into believing he loves Zanu PF more than former Vice President Joyce Mujuru."
He the opposition party's how close or how far are they from cracking the system is not clear.
"Perhaps their problem comes from seeing Zanu PF as just a political party that can be removed by a pseudo democratic election, oblivious of the other factors that have helped Zanu PF retain power, like the intelligence service, the army and affiliated business and foreign actors," he said.
"So my fellow citizens do you still think 2018 is a straight forward deal? Do you truly believe a coalition of opposition parties will remove this system of government and survive the after effects?"
