A President Robert Mugabe's critique Makhelithi Ndiweni has said the solutions to Zimbabweans are only found in Zimbabweans themselves whom he said are the ones capable of liberating themselves for Mugabe's tyranny rule.
"Zimbabwean problems are made in Zimbabwe by Zimbabweans themselves," he said. "No one other than Zimbabweans themselves can liberate Zimbabweans from the tyranny, Mugabe never rigged the 1980 election, Zimbabweans voted him for being a Shona, not for his leadership qualities, Nkomo was rejected for belonging to a rival tribe."
He said in 1999 the MDC did the same Gibson Sibanda was relegated to vice President due to the tribalistic nature of our Politics.
"Its high time we stop being pretenders and look for able leaders regardless of tribe, I don't care if we have 2 vice Presidents being Shona or Ndebele as long as they are good leaders," Ndiweni said. "We want quality politics not our current politics of patronage. Mugabe divided us along tribal lines, now its our time to unite and see that we have got one common enemy. I believe Strive Masiyiwa can take us to Canaan. As for Tsvangirai is an old tired clueless horse. He lives in the government house and he is married to a Zanu PF daughter. Mphoko stays in the hotel because Tsvangirai is refusing to vacate government premises, I think Chamisa is the only hope for the future of MDC-T."
