'White farmers should be compensated'

Zanu-PF MP for Harare East, Terrence Mukupe has said that government must prioritise the compensation of whiter former commercial farmers for improvements they made on land it acquired during the ad hoc and often chaotic land reform programme which started in 2000.

He also bemoaned that the 2016 National Budget had not made provisions for this compensation. The legislator also described the issue of compensation as a big elephant in the room which was not touched on.

The factional and succession wars ravaging Zanu-PF have now turned into a circus , with the under fire Generation 40 camp yesterday suspending Bulawayo provincial chairperson Khumbulani  Mpofu who led the purges of their allies earlier this week.
