Harare Residents Trust exposes Harare Human Capital director for tarnishing fellow council directorsHarare Residents Trust has exposed the Harare City Human Capital director Cainos Chimombe for tarnishing fellow council directors in order to eliminate them from race to takem over the position of town clerk which was left vacant when Tendai Mahachi was fired.
"Cainos Chimombe, the City of Harare's Human Capital Director is allegedly at the forefront of tarnishing his fellow council directors in order to eliminate them from the race to take over the position of Town Clerk," said the trust.
"Chimombe is the worst human resources director at Town House after he failed to monitor employees and cost the council around US$6 million in payouts to employees who had left council employment during the hyper-inflationary period and sought employment in neighbouring countries."
The trust said Chimombe saw nothing wrong and reinstated the employees to their positions or at grades above their previous positions, without any disciplinary proceedings being undertaken.
"He should not be entertaining those thoughts of being Town Clerk when he cant manage the affairs of the council in his current position," said the trust.
