A democracy advocate Josepher Madlanduna has said members of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces are President Robert Mugabe's machine who have denied people of Zimbabwe their right to democracy there by denying MDC-T leader Morgan Tsvangirai to rule even after the people had elected him.

"Some call them Mugabe's war machines. They have backed Zanu PF before and after independence, hitherto," he said. "They have subverted the people's will and refused (MDC-T Leader Morgan) Tsvangirai to assume power openly. Every election time we see martial law being declared as if election time resembles war in Zimbabwe. They are always deployed and spread over the country, organizing and presiding over rallies instilling fear and uncertainty on the rural masses especially."

He said  it's like people vote and they decide.

Hence some are even now blessing the circulation rumour of Tsvangirai teaming with Mujuru towards 2018,whom it's thought might have the trust and loyalty of some of these guys," he said. "Which without elections will always be decided by our service men in uniform towards one party.True or false, what should be done and how do we guarantee they shall remain inside barracks come 2018?"
