OBSERVERS say the calls by the MDC-T for people to boycott buying from Zanu PF big wigs linked shops has yielded not compliance from the people as the Choppies which has great linked with Vice President Phelekezela Mphoko reportedly opened a new branch in Gweru and has spread across the country an indication that its business was booming.

Sam Mawire said it looks like this campaign against buying from all businesses who have links with Zanu PF bigwigs is or has failed dismally.
Choppies opened two branches in Gweru on Friday, and what he saw was something else.

"The shops were filled to the brim," he said. Morris Tony said  "I am the first person to condemn that stupid idea. Its ridiculous. This is Africa. This is Zimbabwe. Those ill- adviced opposition strategists are clueless. They are oppose everything and don't offer solutions and alternatives how people will survive. If you critisize, give an alternative. It shows how bad and cruel our opposition is,how can you try to starve your own people in an already dead economy and where people are eating poisonous wild fruits because of chronic starvation."

He said if people boycott Choppies and company where are they get food?its not raining and there are no harvests.

"Zanu  PF has suffocated the economy(many shops have closed so that their shops can be the only ones trading) and its them who are running the show.I wish Morgan and his friends can visit the neighbouring Botswana to learn from opposition and how power can be won in a similar situation like Zimbabwe without coming up with such tired strategies," he said.
