President Robert Mugabe has arrived home from a medical check up in Singapore.

On his arrival at the Harare International Airport, Mugabe said Zanu-PF is getting ready for the December Annual People's Conference to be held in Bulawayo, adding that the conference will be followed by general elections.

The 86-year-old as always denies that his visit was all due to his deteriorating health condition, claiming he spent time with his daughter, Bona during the visit.

Mugabe was welcomed back home by Vice President Joice Mujuru, Information and Publicity Minister, Webster Shamu, service chiefs and senior government officials.
