The little known political party- Freedom Justice Coalition Zimbabwe Party has accused the media of favouring the big political wigs at the expense of some aspiring politicians a development which the party claims has led the country to remain stagnant.
"Our political environment is currently focussed on 'personalities' and not institutional integrity. Visibility of political parties is largely influenced by access to media, which is currently biased to favour 'big name brands' over the unknown," said the FJCZP.
"Most Technocrats are professionals whose interests are career progression and wealth accumulation hence they tend to be more attracted to the 'big brand names' where they know they can be guaranteed of some form of benefit and most are afraid to join less known entities out of fear of tainting their image and also derailing their career aspirations."
The party said it needs 'radical technocrats', women and men of integrity whose primary interest is to serve and make the necessary sacrifices to accomplish the collective objectives of our political party.
"We understand that unless we are willing to try, and are willing to transform our policies and goals to practical visible outcomes our visibility will not have an impact until our story is being told by the people we serve," said the party.
