Mugabe at 92 does not care about our suffering children- Gumbo

A political and social commentator Vusumuzi Gumbo has questioned if the Zimbabwean citizens think President Robert Mugabe at 92 ever cares about their children and pleaded with the doctors and nurses not to ever punish the needy patients by refusing to work just because one man is keeping the country hostage.

"On the muted civil servants strike, do we think the 92 year old gives rats about our children and the future consequences of his failure to look after the civil servants?" he said. "Doctors,nurses and teachers before you abandon your posts remember that the war is not with the innocent children and civilians."

Gumbo said if people are going to confront this regime let them not be cowards, let them  not use those needing medical attention as a weapon or our children as "child soldiers".

"This will not destroy the regime but serve to divide us," he said.
