Mubaiwa declared liberation war hero

	The former Zimbabwe Republic Police Officer Commanding Harare Province Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Shadreck Mubaiwa who died on Saturday has been a declared a liberation war hero.
ZRP spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said Mubaiwa who was scheduled to be buried at Mutapa Cemetery will now be buried at the Midlands Provincial Heroes Acre this Tuesday, following the conferment of the hero status.
Earlier the body of the late Senior Assistant Commissioner Mubaiwa was taken from Stanwhole farm near Somabula where it lay in state for a church service at Methodist Church in Gweru.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Mubaiwa died on the 26th of this month from injuries sustained when a tree fell on his vehicle along Borrowdale Road Opposite St Georges College in Harare.
