Zesa revenue collection surpassing billing

Monthly revenue collections by Zesa are now surpassing billing as defaulting customers start paying their arrears, Energy and Power Development Minister Elton Mangoma has said.
He added that though consumers "across the body" were now clearing their arrears, it would take a long time for the debt to be erased. He said some of the country's biggest firms owed Zesa huge amounts.
"Our figures for the first and second quarter of this year show that collections are now exceeding billing," said Mangoma.
