Calls for new leadership in Zimbabwe are escalating considering the crumbling economy and the advance age of the President Robert Mugabe.
Junior Columbus Chaparadza said people have to agitate for a new leadership in Zimbabwe so that the country's development can begin.
He said the only way to change Zimbabwe is to have a young and vibrant leadership and this could be achieved through the youth uniting to fight bad leadership as dictatorship has destroyed the country.
"Zimbabwe has a large quantity of diamonds, salt, gold, iron, cobalt, uranium, copper, bauxite, silver, petroleum etc but poor leadership in Zimbabwe is a genesis of all problems facing Zimbabwe," he said.
"Zimbabweans are not children of a lesser God that we have to suffer and die of hunger in a continent with vast natural resources and fertile soils. We have brains, intellect and manpower to develop Zimbabwe ourselves. We have to agitate for a new leadership in Zimbabwe."
He said China is exploiting Zimbabwe because of poor leadership in Zimbabwe. Because of corrupt and greedy leaders of Zimbabwe, China's entry to Zimbabwe is express and faster to exploit its natural resources.
"We can both agree that China is improving infrastructure in Zimbabwe but let us not forget that Chinese are in Zimbabwe to do business and make profits for China as they create a perception that they are developing and helping Zimbabwe," he said.
"Its not help, we pay for what they do. They are exploiting Zimbabwe in huge proportions than you can imagine. China is investing billions of dollars in Zimbabwe as they exploit the continent's vast mineral and energy resources which are worth trillion of dollars at the expense of Zimbabwean people."
Chaparadza said for many years Zimbabweans have been regarded as low thinkers who can not innovate and China have come to Zimbabwe with this mentality. and whether you like or not China see Zimbabwe as inferior and weak.
"Chinese contractors are abusing Zimbabweans on their own land .Zimbabwean leaders have put us in this situation. If China can not engage Zimbabwe as an equal partner and stop exploiting Zimbabwe then whether they like or not children of Zimbabwean will soon riot against them and leaders they have corrupted will never help them. I have no malice or ill will against China in Zimbabwe but I am concerned about my Zimba Country. Zimbabwe is being raped of its natural resources as we are watching," he said.
