A political commentator Mlungisi Dube has predicted that Zimbabwe faces a revolt due to escalating problems caused by economic collapse which are faced by citizens.
In his Facebook post Dube said Zimbabwe has come to a boiling point. which is a conducive environment for a revolution to brew.
"The country is now experiencing labour pains. We reached such a point in 2008, the pain was suppressed by morphine in the form of inclusive government. This pain is necessary for the birth of a new system, for the better or worse a new system will be born," he said.
He said when government continues to fail to pay civil servants , it is time when sober minded and patriotic Zimbabweans will ask, whose interest is the government of(President Robert) Mugabe serving?
"Will the few power hungry individuals with forged liberation credentials continue to enjoy at the expense of the majority," he said. "To fellow countrymen who are contemplating jumping borders, I implore you to hold the fort, your country needs you.For how long will we run away from home?"
