Mugabe in major climb down

Following announcement of proposed changes to the indigenisation framework, the move has been widely described as a climb down by government as it thaws in order to attract more foreign investments.

Finance Minister and Indigenisation Minister late last year proposed new guidelines that if adopted by cabinet will guide implementation of the policy.

This however has been viewed as a climb down by government from its original position that it will not tweak any changes.
