In the new digitalisation era, opportunities are abound.
Those at the helm of the core institutions involved in the exercise say the industry will thrive while Zimbabweans will have access to quality video and audio.
The Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) chief executive officer Mr Obert Muganyura says viewing television will never be the same again.
Muganyura says the quality of the broadcasts will be what Zimbabweans have longed for in a long time.
Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation Acting CEO Mr Patrick Mavhura says the media is an industry which by digitalising will now reach its full potential through content production.
"Most Zimbabweans will earn a living and jobs will be created along the way," said Mr Mavhura.
For Transmedia CEO Ms Florence Sigudu Matambo, viewer choice has always been important, thus the availing of many channels means Zimbabweans will have full access.
The three companies Transmedia, the ZBC and BAZ have played core roles in government's endeavour to digitalise the broadcasting sector.
