Man steals 2,820kgs of chicken

A Kuwadzana 3 man in Harare has been arrested over 2,820kgs of dressed chickens after promising to sell them on behalf of the owner, a court heard.
Shingirai Chakwira aged 35 stole the birds belonging to Zinyanga Muwengwa way back in August last year.
He said he will hand over the cash, once bought.
The chickens were worth $8319.
The pair had agreed that each bird was worth $9.
However, in November when Muwengwa checked on the progress, Chikwiza was no longer responding to calls.
It was then that Muwengwa discovered that all chickens had been sold and Chikwiza had converted the money to his own use.
That led to Chikwiza's arrest.
