Mugabe collapses, claims SA radio station

South African Broadcasting Station linked radio station has claimed that President Robert Mugabe collapsed after suffering a heart attack while on holiday with his family.
In its Wednesday reports, SAfm claimed that it received news that Mugabe collapsed and he is in a critical condition but could not get hold of its reporter in Zimbabwe to confirm the allegations.
After realizing that they might have been sold a dummy, the radio station retracted the statement and apologized for reporting about the rumour.
President Mugabe is currently in the Far East enjoying his traditional holiday. It is not clear as to when he is expected home. There has been calls by the opposition and some Zimbabweans for Mugabe to cancel his holiday and attend to the collapsing economy.
