IHG disassociated self from Crowne Plaza hotel after bullet found in ministers booked room

The Meropa communications senior consultant Philippa Piguet based in Johannesburg, South Africa, who is responsible for the IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) brand a public relations their market has disassociated the company from the Monomotapa Hotal after media reports stated that a bullet was found in the Monomotapa Hotel room booked by Sport and Recreation Minister Makhosini Hlongwane linking the hotel to IHG.
"Please be advised that the Crowne Plaza Harare Monomotapa is no longer part of IHG," said Piguet.
According to Piguet Simon Stamper said "On the 1 January 2016 Crowne Plaza Harare Monomotapa exited the IHG system and no longer operates under the Crowne Plaza brand. The hotel is now called the Monomotapa Hotel."
A bullet was found in the room booked by Hlongwane a the hotel on Tuesday amid fears he was under serious threat.
