Zimbabweans in diaspora urge Zanu-PF to call doctor Amai Mugabe to order

Sangano Madzimbahwe is a civic group representing the interest of Zimbabweans in the diaspora. We as Sangano Madzimbahwe have done consultation and engaged in dialogue with university students, business people and fellow Zimbabweans at large.

It has come to our attention that our people are losing faith and trust in the main Liberation party - Zanu PF, mainly because of Doctor Amai's involvement in mainstream politics. We honour and respect the hard of our gallant son of Zimbabwe, our trusted leader, our mentor, the Icon of Africa, His Excellency RG Mugabe.

We feel AMAI Mugabe interference in the presidium would only tarnish the icon's image. We feel doctor Grace's political ambitions are misguided.

Zanu pf is a party with ideological policies and principles , a party which represents the efforts of all our fallen heroes whose blood was shed in the struggle.

AMAI Mugabes ambitions will set a very bad example to all other wives of all party executives in the structures. Had AMAI chitepo, Amai Tongogara, Amais Muzenda, mama Mafuyani and Amai Sally Mugabe aspired the same, would Zanu pf be where it is today. If the dead can see, then Amai Sally is weeping for Zanu pf because of the circus that's going on in our liberation movement. We feel Amai Mugabe ascending to presidency would make the main political party a laughing stalk. We also that the betrayal of Cdes by other Cdes within Zanu pf is getting out of hand, hence we seek intervention from His Excellency and his two Vice Presidents. All hope is not yet gone for Zimbabweans if we bury selfishness and political greediness and promote unity.

Zanu pf should be clear with the criteria for candidates aspiring for presidency. They must not come and stable in the way if party stalwarts who all struggled for Zanu pf to be where it is and what it is today, if seniority counts, then Amai Mugabe is too junior for that position
