Alick Macheso took advantage of his break from shows for the past two weeks to polish his album and will begin sampling the complete project to fans when he resumes shows this weekend.

His weekend shows have been dubbed "Tsoka Dzerwendo Outreach" and the musician says it is the final phase of sampling the upcoming album before he announces the date of release.

Lucky Macheso who is part of the management said they were happy to be coming back this week in high spirits.

"The guys are good and the break gave us enough time to polish the album as well as our stage work.

"We are on a final phase of presenting the new material to our fans before we announce the date of the album launch. We thank our fans for being patient and we encourage them to come and hear the final songs as we prepare for the release of the album," he said.

Lucky said morale is high at Orchestra Mberikwazvo as they were celebrating the return of drummer Obert Gomba, who had deserted the group with other members to form Extra Kwazvose.

Last week the group held a get-together party where they had fun and mapped their 2016 strategy.

Tonight Macheso performs at Joy Centre Gardens at Machipisa Shopping Centre and tomorrow goes to TP Rukawo in Chegutu before returning to Harare for a family show in Mbare.

"These are our first shows since the break and we promise to give our fans the best," said Lucky.
